Why don't you try non drip gloss paint and a cardboard stencil. I am sure
you will have eveything you need at home already. Sticky numbers do tend to
fall off - my bins are all gloss paint and stenciled.
I made the stencil by printing out the numbers in font size 400 (yes 400 -
its about A5 size but you can pick whatever suits) and just using an outline
to save ink. Outline can be done in Word by highlighting number then format
menu->font-> tick outline and then used a cornflakes box to cut out the
numbers. Then tape it in place and away you go!
I know its a bit of an longer process but the numbers will last longer and
you can put it on as many sides and things you want.
