That is a good price, its £ 825 ex VAT at dabs.com, the 5 year warranty appears to be an extra £ 250 at the site you linked too, or is the "in store" one included in the £ 870 inc price??
Also how much better is it then the Samsung 50" Plasma PS50A457P1DXXU at dabs.com for £ 635 ex VAT

Pick up in store and like it says - it is included

Panasonic have always been at the front of plasma quality/price. Samsung have come a long way but Panasonic and Pioneers always seem to get the best reviews.

I've just got the Panasonic TH42PZ** (can't remember for certain if it was 8B) which is I beleive the 1080p version of this TV (obviously in 42" size) and it really is excellent. Using my Humax PVR - so not a 1080p source or anything, the picture is noticeabley better than it was on the 42" LG 42LC2D it replaced. Even my mum commented how good the picture was (trust me, if she noticed the difference, it's marked!).
Can't comment on the price of the TV, but on the Vivenco cables below it, Tesco's are doing them for about 40% of that price. I.e. 1.5m SCART to SCART for £10. Cured the colour strobing effect we were getting with our old dirt cheap SCART cables.

For that distance dirt cheap SCART cables are fine. It's just the TV SCART "tuner output" setup that needs looking at, or the appropiate use of wire snips :-)

Bit of confusion here, not surprising as they kind of have two policies, pre-sale and after sale.
They appear to say if before purchase you see it cheaper then they will only price match to local stores.
Where as, after purchase you can claim difference with any store in England.
